FSW (Express Entry)

Effective January 2015, Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) has implemented a new electronic system called Express Entry to manage applications for permanent residence under certain economic immigration programs. Express Entry is not an immigration program in itself, but rather a modern online system to select candidates for immigration to Canada using the economic immigration programs including Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program and Canadian Experience Class Program.

Unlike the policy in past, there are no deadlines to submit the application/express entry profile or quotas applied to the number of applicants that could be accepted to the Express Entry Pool.

Express Entry is a most realistic chance to get Canadian Permanent Residency as well as Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP). To be eligible for Express Entry and PNP applicant should reach minimum required 67 points and it is calculated based on 4 main criteria such as Age, Education, Experience, Language Skills (IELTS) and Adaptability (spouse skills) for those who are married or having blood relatives in Canada.
