There are two specific types of entry Australia provides for easy migration under the general skilled migration scheme. 

General Skilled Migration

Employer sponsor visa

This visa enables skilled people to live and work permanently in Australia after being nominated by their employer. Applicants for Employer Sponsored Visas in Australia must hold a position on the Skilled Occupations List and possess at least 2 years of recent, relevant work experience. The candidate must also fulfill requirements for their health and character.

Subclass 186 Visas OR Permanent employer-sponsored visas

Subclass 186 visas are the visas that enable skilled people to live and work continuously in Australia after being nominated by their employer. Further, it’s categorized into three Streams Direct Entry stream, Labour agreement stream, and Temporary Residence Transition stream.

The immigrant can permanently reside and work in Australia, thanks to the direct entry stream. The candidate must have language competence and be employed in a position that is on the pertinent list of qualifying skilled vocations. The processing of visas takes three to fourteen months.

If you already work for or will soon work for an employer who is a party to a labor agreement, the Labour Agreement course may be right for you. Employers can sponsor qualified individuals for this visa, which allows them to live and work permanently in Australia. The processing of visas takes five to ten months.

If one is in possession of a 457, TSS, or similar bridging visa A, B, or C this visa enables skilled individuals who have been nominated by their company to live and work permanently in Australia. The candidate must have worked full-time for an employer for at least three years to be eligible for this stream. The processing of visas takes three to nineteen months.

Sub-class 482 or Temporary Skills Shortage (TSS) Visa

Due to the shortage of skilled Australian workers, a firm may use this temporary visa to sponsor a qualified worker to fill an open position. The candidate must meet the necessary English language standards, have the necessary abilities for the work, and be nominated for a skilled post by an authorized sponsor in order to apply for this position.

This visa is subsequently divided into a Short-term stream, Medium-term stream, Labour agreement stream, and Subsequent entrant

Short-term stream

If an International Trade Obligation (ITO) is involved, the applicant may stay for a maximum of 4 years instead of 2 years. Passport holders from Hong Kong may stay for up to 5 years. The processing of visas approximately 14 Days to seven months.

Medium-term stream

The candidate may stay for a maximum of four years. The processing of visas approximately 14 Days to seven months. 

Labour agreement stream

This visa is for qualified individuals proposed by companies with labour agreements and who are nominated by employers. It enables you to temporarily reside and earn a living in Australia. Employers and the Australian Government create labour agreements. Depending on the conditions of the employment contract, the applicant may stay for a maximum of four years. Holders of Hong Kong passports may stay for up to 5 years. The processing of visas approximately 20 Days to seven months. 

Subsequent entrant

The primary subclass 457 or TSS visa holder’s family members who are applying separately for their TSS visa and wish to join them in Australia must hold a valid subclass 457 or TSS visa in order to be eligible for this visa. The applicant may remain in Australia as long as the visa is valid.
